We had a wonderful engaged turnout at our recent 'ACTIVE NETWORKING' nights and we are continuing into the holidays here at THE BOX SF!

Each week, Mark E. Sackett and maybe even a few special guests, will be giving a few active networking tips as well as a quick tip to help your personal and business brand at 7pm and before that you will hear our guests talk about what they do!

The economy has been bad and for some of you worse than others. People are hurting including someone you know. Business is down, jobs are scarce, the economy is fairly still and people are fearful. Every Monday, you are invited to "ACTIVE NETWORKING" here from 6–9 p.m.

Stop by after work anytime between 6–9 p.m. and buy a drink, relax and connect. There is complimentary cheese, fruit and breads provided by Barrel-Tastings.com and Cindy Crater's fantastic touch!! Try McQuades Chutneys, maybe even shop a little here with our retail partners, trade a card, hear a story and make a genuine new friend.

Here at THE BOX SF, we know that relationships are the foundation of all business, but they mean nothing if we stop at hello. Eighty percent of all people who go to networking events fail to follow-through and fail to develop any type of genuine relationship beyond the initial connection. So frankly, what's the point?

At THE BOX SF, you are going to meet a fantastic and active cross-section of the Bay Area including business owners, entrepreneurs, environmentalists, dancers, artists, sales folks, designers, architects, bankers, marketing folks, media folks, doctors, singers, musicians, trainers and coaches. Our network includes everything from techies to trekkies. And, I am sure all of you will want to do better, make stronger ACTIVE connections, and to help each other.

Cost is $7 through our reservation link or $10 at the door and is nothing to pay for a number of new and genuine connections or leads per week, some great cheeses, fruits and munchies. We hope those who attend will adopt our attitude of, "So nice to meet you! Now, how can we help each other and our world do better?"

We can all go to our local bar and relax, but let's do more right now. That's part of why we are doing here and this is just the start of scores of different events, concerts, food/chocolate/cheese events, seminars, teas, film events, non-profit events and speakers series we offer 365 days a year for both day and night events.

FOR OUR HOLIDAY CHARITY THIS YEAR WE HAVE ADOPTED PROJECT NIGHT NIGHT! PLEASE READ

We have adopted Project Night Night for all our events in December. So we are asking anyone coming to THE BOX SF in December to consider bringing a children's book or a new child's blanket as a Christmas contribution to Project Night Night?  Here is a link to their website and the good work they do: http://www.projectnightnight.org

We get nothing for doing this of course and simply want to help, we hope you will help as well during these most difficult times for kids. We hope to collect 1000 blankets and books for these homeless children this holiday season.
